HEY IT'S ALMOST NON/DISNEY ON MY CHANNEL, WHAT A RARE THING THESE DAYS.
But I saw the chance to participate in VALIN probably for the last time, and I TOOK IT.
Honestly, it's so sad. I have like 3, 5... 26!! X'D So sad. But the month was basically gone before I knew it. However I noticed how much fun it can be to edit short sections and maybe not put too much effort into something. I will hopefully continue to post short edits in the future, though I think about move these to my instagram, which I revised after some friends annoyed me to post my art online. SO YEAH. I guess I will upload complilations here on youtube every now and then ;) I'm actually thinking about doing it with mep parts too or instead...
ANYWAY. Do you wanna know what I did yesterday? Caught up with the Tangled Series. I really liked the pilot which I watched back in April, and I was like "hey are there actually episodes now" and so I started watching. The first episode was promising, and then came the filler episodes. But most of them were lovely and some were really, really interesting. The Science Festival thing was very sweet as I think, since it primarly featured my two favorite characters. Varian and Cassie... cassi? Cassy? ANYWAY.
The midseason finale had me quite emotional, especially with all the tension. Honestly though, protect this freaking teenager. He's such a sweetheart, as he proofs especially in the Sciene Expo thing (also I think he has a crush on cass and I find it really cute, I really hope that if he gets a villain plot that she's the one to break through to him) and he didn't deserve to suffer so bad. Although the situation was really complicated of course and there was nothing Rapunzel could have done, it was still so tragic. The voice actor was freaking great. I'm afraid to hear my local dub omg X'Do
Anyway, a while back moonshadow edited this song and I was like "I've heard that" and I've kinda had it in my end so then I saw this opportunity and decided to screw more studying I could do and spend my time editing. I have a little less stress until december than I had the last few weeks, so I'm hoping that I can do a few more valin edits. The problem is that I have been editing, it often just took more than 1 day and most of it are mep parts that I upload after the meps are out.

SO ANYWAY. Protect Varian. And pls make his revenge plot if he really gets one well-written I beg you, he doesn't deserve to be a bad written villain, neither does he deserve to be turned completely ruthless and pure evil. He's too much of a dork to be completely evil to everyone (spare cass, thanks).
Anyway, I hope you liked this quite simple edit. I think the typo needed longer than all the effects lol.

This past weekend I went to my first convention, AniNite 2018! [...]
And well! It was very, very exhausting. I came home every day at like 6-10 pm and fell asleep almost imediately. I managed to get two keychains with Izuku and Ochako and one FMA poster! Plus, a few photos of cool cosplays which I dont want to share just in case the people have a problem with that! I also made a picture together with a cosplay of Violet Evergarden, which was absolutely sweet and I smiled like a dork ^///^
SO! I entered the AMV Contest at said convention, and because I felt like I was fit for the hard level I said Id sign up for that and well, I fell on my face. HARD.
I dont know where I placed according to the jury, but I wasnt in the top 3 of 11 candidates, which is of course not to say I was last, but well, in the public vote, before I shared it with some friends to maybe save my poor pride, I was second to last and only when my friend voted, was I third-to-last.
Not to say I felt like I should have won, the entries were all absolutely beautiful, but it still kind of hurt and Im kinda frustrated. [...]
[...] But I still like my video. I still liked the other videos, of course! [...]
After my video played on the convention I heard somebody say Damn behind me and it made my day honestly!! :3

This is a slightly improved (hopefully pfft-) version of my guest entry for the Indigo Team Inside IC 5: NO SLEEP.
The original theme was to edit with no/minimal effect usage. I wasnt happy with the lack of flow in my entry so this v2 has more zooms/pans, more black flashes, more fades (a feedback i got from one of the judges), some blurs, and some timing adjustments I made while going through the whole thing again.
Im glad I got to edit Princess Tutu after all this time hehe~

Also last episode was AMAZING. I cried. But for a different character than I thought :D Goddamn Isabella is such a great character.

I totally loved this mep and the underused characters party used in it! Anyway, I watched ballerina and really regreted that I didnt go watch it in theaters when I had the chance to.
Anyway, this part was really fun to do and while I like some of the ideas with the lyrics I dont think I made it work that good. Anyway.... HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!
