Fairly straightforward battle. Since she has another version to fight, I don't play around here. It was my intention to try and juggle her as much as possible without touching the ground, making this a short fight.
I guess the most notable things about her are her superarmor on some of her artes, her spirit shift artes having full auto-turn(i.e. will face your direction even if they start the arte in a different direction), the Grace skill(no stagger during cast) and Aerial Spell. Not seen here, but she also can get superarmor on wakeup for a small period of time.
After 50%HP, she'll start using the Four. Its the same as Muzet 2, but something about Milla's animation of it makes it slightly slower, and therefore, Sylph isn't as stupid-fast coming out so I can just sidestep it if needed. She's more likely to use Gnome though. She also counters mostly with Arrivederci and, after 25%HP, Cyclone, which is an easy way to rack up damage.
She comes with some notable spells and Spirit Shifted artes, but most aren't a problem in this fight as I keep her locked down fairly tight.
One thing that confuses me is that I haven't been successful in dodging Cyclone. Same file(different equipment), so speed should be the same, but I can't manage to dodge it the same way I did for shadow Muzet(edit from future me: I did Muzet before Milla, hence the statement). Therefore, I decided to equip various equipments to nullify wind; Opal is 50% wind resist, and(guessing from tests), Rose Ribbon and Elemental Guard has 25%/30% respectively. Honestly, this is a tactic I should have employed a while ago; seeing Symphonia runs utilize this tactic(esp Muzet 2), I've come to accept this as a strategic maneuver. Here I only use it for Cyclone, but its still useful to nullify Wind Blade counter(both spell and spirit-shifted versions), Sylph, and Arrivederci; I could have just absorbed the damage, however, I dodge those to show that it was only needed for Cyclone, and not her other wind attacks.

Modifications made:
- bosses have all weaknesses and resistances removed
- set Leia's Max HP to 18(so I can die in 1 hit)
- set STR and DEX to 9999(this can be done legitimately at endgame)
- changed Chronos 3 encounter to the video's boss and battlefield to Illusionary Darkness; avoids needing to link to deal damage
- - result from above caps the encounter at level 77 by default instead of the enemy's original level(if its higher, and it will be for Shadow bosses)

BIG THANKS to @Sora3100 for the cheat table to make this run possible =03!

![Tales of Arise - Relentless Charger [Hard] - Shionne Solo
Finally started the demo 3 days ago and the first thing I do is this boar and nothing else =0b. The Pascal vibes are strong with this one, not only cause Im doing a Pascal solo right now. Already shown a bit in the Shionne/Pascal comparison video, but after playing there are other details that give the impression of Pascal being a base for Shionne; from obvious animations, to minor aspects like dodging to avoid resetting her gun(vulnerable in this moment)... at least, its what I convinced myself of. Most likely gonna be my main =03.
About this boss, its your basic boar, only you cant really stagger it. Playing around boss attacks is something Im familiar with, so the style to play it is right up my alley.
For this take, I particularly focus on countering its charge, evident when the boars left front leg makes the charging motion 3 times. After I perfect counter and it passes me, I have a bit of time before it can recover to unload a few more artes(usually light bomb ext, lightning bomb ext, displode, aqua impact) onto it. If the counter stops it in place, then I use 1 less arte in preparation it will charge again very soon. If it stops a 2nd time in a row, it will usually recover even faster, so then I just throw 1 bomb, jump, aqua impact. Rinse and repeat. Still a whole lot of room for improvement. Learning its close-ranged attacks could have further improved the quality of the fight, but I opted to keep it simple.
I really like the boss system so far. Makes me have to respect what the boss can do, while both me and the boss can still be aggressive. Unfortunately, I couldnt maximize my aggression, due to the HP of the boss and the length of the battle; else I would further minimize my idle time and/or do more riskier plays, like attacking in-between his OVL double charge attack(which can be done).
Have zero serious complaints about the system so far. I do wish the artes had a 2nd voiced line like the last couple of entries in the series; hearing Displode! Aquaeous Impact! got a bit repetitive, but thats minor stuff that will probably be diluted with stuff like the Artes Ball, and its possible that the main game does have it, and its just the demo that does this.
Now I can actually try to finish the demo, lol. Tales of Arise - Relentless Charger [Hard] - Shionne Solo](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4inXqXJJRJg/mqdefault.jpg)
