From Main Story Chapter 7:
It initially took me quite the while to find an algorithm for Chronos. He has no weaknesses, so knowing how and when I could attack was paramount. I could have spammed Eagle's Rage(something that I did too much in future battles, to my dismay =01...), but if something less spammy can be done, I'll attempt to do it. This is a result.
Let me mention a minor note about boss behavior. When a boss counterattacks, initially, he will only attempt the ctratk, then slowly back away for 60 frames on a 30fps player(yes, exactly 2 secs). After the first 2 times, the boss will atk immediately, after a half-second delay. This effect refreshes itself every ~45 secs from the moment they initially counter. It's important to note, since I tend to use that 2-sec recovery time to deal additional damage, and cut the after-ctratk 'combo' down after it happens twice. There's a time restriction on OVL too, but I don't know if its 45 secs or a full minute, but its not of any significance anyway.
After fighting him so long, I found out he can be combo'd if he is in the air. The first time he attempts to counter in the air will always activate his OVL. After that, if he gets knocked into the air again, and his OVL hasn't refreshed, you can perform a semi-infinite combo without any weakness. He can even be lifted one extra time if you break his guard with one hit(not shown here though). Leia can easily break guards and launch almost any boss into the air all the same. Nonetheless, I figured it might be seen as 'cheap', so I did one with a different strategy(link below), but I didn't like the Trinity Bit part much. Unlike Jude, it's not easy to use her elemental artes without getting Chronos Collider'd, and the strike resistance NEVER seems to go away, so I played it safe.

This took WAYY too long(over a week, not counting time spent with her on Muzet), since Im not familiar with Milla outside casual play. Had to truncate both combos since he dies quickly(only 1x dmg GS option here). I JUST now thought of using an All-Divide between combos, but Ive gotten crapped on because of the non-arte electric field )=0[, plus I put in extra work to trim the fat off the combos, so Im satisfied with this.

Yes, 0:34 actually happened (T,T ). Was only going to do that one, but since I had WAY more losses than even this, and the music was good, I did it for the whole song.

![Updated .CT table for Tales of Graces f
Updated the .CT file for ToGf for use on the RPCS3 emulator. Only works on emulator build v14-11605 and requires the current version of Cheat Engine(7.2). Had issues getting these codes updated(the occasional crash, etc), so while there are no guarantees I can correct any issue anyone else may have, feel free to post and Ill try to look into it.
Main elements:
-Asbel No Draw/No Sheath code(doesnt work when facing Asbel himself)
there are two variations to this; one that works with B-artes, but not shortcuts, and one that works with both. As you need to use Draw to gain Iron Stance stacks, use the former if you want to keep that ability.
-Quick steps increase A-arte level(e.g. Zestiria/Berseria)
-a separate B-artes increase A-arte level code(e.g. Zesty/Bersy)
made mainly for Sophie/Hubert, but can be used with Asbel as well, if you still wanted to keep Draw/Sheath mechanics.
-CC Cost -1 and CC Cost 50% reduction
-50%/75%/88% Cast-time reduction
-an A-arte Master list(can change the A-arte assignment setup in CE(not reflected in-game))
-Weapon editor
-Enemy status editor
-Party editor(normally wouldnt need this, but in case you want to use a team with the WR Top floor battle)
Also figured out how some elements of the encounter system work. You can set the top Warrior Roost battle by toggling the WR Top floor enemy fight params code and setting the parameters listed. There are also a few automated fights I created under the Auto Arena Top floor battle code. Just toggle the box, then toggle one of the entries under it to set it up. Untoggling it reverts entries to its original state.
This fight was pretty fun. Had a blast going up against these two. I always enjoyed playing their solo versions and it was interesting to see how their dynamics would play if they were in a team. As the characters passives and shard skills can have an effect here, Sophie a bit more durable(Rescue skill[Near-death = chance at HP Recv] + Bruiserine quality(1-hit Iron Stance)), so I go after Hubert first. Not gonna lie, after so many losses, this take, while not the best one in terms of showing off the code, was the fastest one(dont want a 5 min fight), and got lost making it look interesting and just wanted to win. They can just juggle you so well, but Im sure itd be easier with Iron Stance. Big part was beating Hubert before the 1-min mark(as, if they have all of their passives, they both get a 20% heal + 4 sec Invincibility, ATK ups etc). My Asbel is certainly not the cleanest either =0(...
These codes were something Ive wanted to do for years, and Im glad I can finally put these feelings to rest and close that chapter of my Graces life.

Two takes. I feel the 2nd one was cleaner and it was done before the 1st one, but he just wouldnt Chronos Collide for anything except once when it counted. A good thing in general, but not what I wanted =0v.
When I first beat him with no Power Charge long ago, I thought it was such an accomplishment. Now beating him is just another day at the park. His half-mage/half-melee approach to fighting is rather easy to deal with in comparison to other no weakness bosses, and is a good boss to get your feet wet with if youre interested in this No PC style of play.
My approach is different from the original. In the original, I get him into OVL by breaking his Iron Stance and making him counter in the air. Then after his OVL ends, get him back in the air and combo him to near-death/death. For these takes, I opted not to abuse this strategy since it trivializes him a bit too much and I like fighting him, since there are plenty of ways to maneuver and attack him at the same time. Eagles Rage is the easiest and safest route. Soaring Vortex can attack him if hes approaching for a melee attack. You can Darting Claw or Linked Explosion through him if hes moving toward you. If he Tetra Spells, its easily dodged by a sidestep, or two for sure, and can be approached with your arte of choice. Soulstoke Spin is always a safe bet for breaking Iron Stance, though you gotta be wary of a Chronos Collider counter.
Speaking of counters, he will either use his normal attack, Tetra Spell, or Chronos Collider. He mostly favors TS in neutral, CC if youre heavily attacking him while hes down, and least favors the normal attack(speculatively; could just be confirmation bias =0b). After 50%, hell add Chain Strike to that mix.
For TS - the usual sidestep into LE;
For CC - depending on how I downed him, either Ill Earth Roar - Spiral Strike - jump - Soaring Blast, which puts me just out its vertical range, or use Eagles Rage invulnerability frames to dodge it if Im on the ground.
For Chain Strike - I like to arte + aerial jump, then descend when the arte activates, since it activates at your current altitude.
For the normal attack - that catches me a bit off guard, because it is quick, but I I think the best option there is sidestep - SsSpin(if I can).
Once he hits 50%, he activates Trinity Bit,.... Simply put, he gains resistances to all three physical attributes, and using certain artes removes them. Learned that from Jakkun/@UnlimitedMrX long ago in his Ludger - Chronos video, so thanks to him for figuring out how that works and is as follows:
Sword: Chain Strike
Hammer: Chronos Collider
Gun: Tetra Spell
CS and TS happen naturally, and the resistances are removed the moment he begins casting, so I can still interrupt him. CC usually procd through a counter after knockdown if youre close and/or attacking him within range, but is not guaranteed. He may also do it randomly out of nowhere if your close to him after he tries to combo you, after a backstep, and/or after Tetra Assault, but only occasionally. Since he is resistant to blunt attacks, I use three elemental artes; Linked Explosion can whittle down his guard and/or Iron Stance; Cerberus Strike to get into myself in mid-air; and Rabid Lunge at low altitude until I knock him down while hes charging his spell. Then I get close to him while hes down and use rising artes + jump to proc and avoid CC IF it comes out(he may counter with CS or TS). Once he loses the bits, its over for him since he can be power combod.
It looks like I take a lot of risks, specifically during his counter-to-attack phases, but they are calculated moves that simply require proper timing and works most of the time. I already beat him a couple of times by this point anyway, so I wasnt worried about losing, and hes easy to put the pressure on.

This is my sayonara to Xillia 1, and I thought to do this with a redux of my Leia run. This run, though called a speed run doesnt necessarily mean I trying to get the fast time; just means that battles will be over quickly.
*steps on soapbox*
The general idea is this: Leia is a fairly limited melee character in comparison to her peers(Al, Mil, Jude), however the disadvantages of her lack of artes are not as much of a blight as people think. It was my wholehearted goal to emphasize this in my initial run. Against bosses, Leias aerial artes Rabid Lunge(against a boss in counterattack phase) and Crescent Flash are akin to Judes Palm Strike; possibly stronger if Sky Soldier(+25%dmg, -25%TP consumption) is used. Most importantly, all 10 of her artes have their uses, but my lack of experience in early portions of the run led to sub-standard gameplay. Still, I feel that, because of her limited # of artes, seeing the small amount of combos at her disposal for a long period of time makes a drag to watch. Since I was redoing the final battle by using Exels gald-farming trick, I figured it was a good time to go through and do everything over again while revisiting the story before X2 released. *steps off soapbox*
So this is it. Everything Ive learned by hard work and training, as well as watching how others approached bosses and tactics they use, I put into this run.
Obviously 2x Dmg/ 3x Crit is used. I used herbs to up my P.Atk and A.Atk to about 5000(because I was killing the first bosses in 12 secs when I maxed it out, lol), and maxed it out after Nacht/ before The Chim battle(cause they were kicking my arse). No armors, no Last Stand skill, no 30+ lv Iron Stance, no *elem* Guard skills, none of that(I did have an E.Circlet eqp on the Chim battle, though I didnt need it). Last boss, of course, is the exception. Battles will be quick. Leia is an aerial character, so I wont be holding back from attacking from high-in-the-sky if necessary. Same with Soulspin spam(expect a lot of that). Tales of Xillia - The Tenacity of a Hard-working Girl [Leia solo]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/cNIXb-Ikdy4/mqdefault.jpg)
