![Tales of Xillia Milla Solo: Hammerzamm [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
Obligatory burrowing worm in a JRPG boss... not too bad for Milla at all. Especially considering she was just in a wheelchair. And yeah, maybe I did get a little too carried away with the intro to this one lmao.

Strategy:
Hammerzamm has three counters: a swipe attack with a huge horizontal hitbox, Rising Rush, and Rush Drill when its below 50% HP. Luckily, thanks to a new arte weve obtained, Cloud Pierce, none of these counters are a threat to us. Cloud Pierce is pretty much the fastest way to gain height in Xillia by a decent margin. If I see him using Rising Rush or Rush Drill, I can simply use Cloud Pierce about three times and then do the Aerial Spell Glitch. If I was near Hammerzamm when it burrowed, I can even continue my offense by releasing the spell and using Death Knell when it re-surfaces. It always re-surfaces where it started the attack. So this is both a good way of staying on the offensive and dodging the attack at the same time (note that Hammerzamm is complete invincible during both burrow artes). I can also dodge Rush Drill with aerial dashes, but it can be a little inconsistent from my experience.
When it comes to engaging Hammerzamm, I found that guard manipulating him into using Crush Bind and then jumping towards him with Binding Sphere works for some reason. Crush Binds hitbox is a little... strange.

![Tales of Xillia 2 Milla Solo: Ivars Hammer Training [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
Is this a boss? Eh, not really. Ill include it this time since beating up Ivar is fun though. Leia decided to wake up for this one.

-Modified the party
Strategy:
As you may be able to guess, Ivars Hammer Training tutorial is weak to... hammer! However, hes rather unique for a boss as he generally takes a lot of hits to actually counter. This is why I can start with Cloud Pierce without him countering me despite Cloud Pierce not hitting his weakness. Weakness resets are also completely free because of this. I do a weakness reset at 0:15 by simply using Overdrive to hit hammer as the timer runs out. A normal boss would counter attack there.
I end the combo using Aqua Protection to stun Ivar and then using the aerial spell glitch to do Luminous Chamber. I dont know Aqua Protections exact stun chance, but its fairly low and has like no hitstun otherwise lol.

Strategy:
Pretty much identical to Ivars Hammer Training except he has a different weakness (Gun). For some reason, they made Condemnation a gun arte so Milla can start a combo on this Ivar with ease. For my reset at 0:17, I applied the Condemnation mark, knocked him down, let the timer reset, then let the mark explode to hit the weakness while hes downed, then re-stood him with Wind Blade to start a new weakness timer.
I also used this opportunity to use Blade Torrent and Shining Prism. Dont expect to see too much of these artes. Blade Torrent has awful hitstun and Shining Prism moves the enemy around a bunch which makes it a bit awkward to follow up.

![Tales of Eternia Shizel Solo: Insect Plant [No Items/Hardcore/No Damage]
Pretty simple but neat fight. Using spells on multiple enemies is very satisfying and Eruption was surprisingly useful :o
Game Modifications:
-Modified party, stats, accessories, and arte list
Strategy:
My strategy is essentially to wipe out the bees (sorry, EVIL NEEDLES) with Freeze Lancers and then kite the slow Insect Plant around the map and cast spells while it walks at me. When the Plant gets near me, I cast Eruption to run past it safely. This is because I can actually move while the fireballs at the end of the spell rain down. Most other spells lock me in the casting animation while theyre doing damage, so this is a pretty unique usage of Eruption!

![Tales of Xillia Jude & Milla Duo: Gaius 1 [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
Heres a teaser for the Jude & Milla duo run thatll be coming out in exactly one week from now! This is by far my favorite fight of the run and its also the one we took the longest on. Hep and I no-lifed this fight for a few days and I think it came out really well. Ill probably never forget how braindead some of our conversations were over those few days lol. Big thanks to him for being willing to grind out this fight and the rest of the run. I genuinely believe this duo run is something special, so I hope everyone will look forward to it!

Strategy:
Volt is extremely annoying and 90% of my problems with him is due to his counter where he jumps up and crashes down with lightning in a huge AOE. The only way I deal with this is to jump away from him or be hitting him from far away. It also hits in mid-air since the AOE spawns where the counter first occurred. His other counters are where he jumps around randomly (this counter only occurs when hes below 50% HP) and a slow attack where he sends lightning in multiple directions. The latter counter is incredibly easy to play around and punish since I can just hover over it or jump away from it if Im scared of his crash down. The random jumps are similar to the crash down but it feels easier to react to.
Volt cant be guard manipped, but his kit isnt too threatening. Id say his most annoying attack in neutral is probably Thunder Volley which leaves lingering projectiles on the field. I generally try to jump over these or let Volt approach past them. When Volt goes into OVL, hell generally spam cast spells (mostly Thunder Blade but he can cast Bolt Strike too). His Thunder Blade doesnt follow him like mine does for me, so as long as I keep some distance it should be fine.

Time to show off Millas greatest strength in X1: crowd control.

Strategy:
As I mentioned earlier, Milla actually excels in these multi-man boss fights. Her mix of aerial mobility, AOE, and straight line artes make her insane against links in particular. In case youre unfamiliar with links, heres how it works: the two bosses link and one of them is leader and the other is the partner. The partner will not attack unless they get me in a pincer or my back is against the wall. If I attack the leader, the partner will rush to their defense and drop them out of my combo. Its actually much easier to deal with bosses when theyre linked as the partner is much more passive when linked. Having artes that go in a straight line is very effective against links as the partners defense will pretty much line themselves up for me. This is what makes Lightning, Sigil Spear, and even Grave so strong against links. Additionally, I can force a link to happen by hanging out high in the air. If Im in the air, their AI will eventually hang and the options for what their AI can choose to do are very limited. One of their only options down there is to link, which is what causes staying in the air to force a link. Since Im Milla, this is incredibly easy to do. I can Cloud Pierce into the air, do the aerial spell glitch, and simply hold down the artes button during my cast until they link.
As for Wingul and Presa themselves, theyre fairly easy to deal with as Milla. Wingul can counter with Severing Wind and Rising Phoenix, both of which I can easily dodge with a backwards aerial jump, backsteps, or just by spamming Cloud Pierce. Wingul can also be guard manipulated in to using Gale Fang which is easy to punish with a Grave or a Lightning. Presa is a bit more annoying. If I am going to engage Presa, I have to jump and then use Lightning first. This is because Presa has a ranged attack and if I use Grave to engage like I normally do theres a good chance I come down and just get sniped by Presa. Presa also cant be guard manipped and can cast Splash. Thankfully, Splash is easy to dodge as Milla as I can dodge it with a backwards or forwards aerial jump. Presa only really has one dangerous counter and its the one where she spins with her pages. This attack is scary because it comes out super quickly. If Im proccing counters from a safe distance with things like Wind Blade, Lightning, Grave, or Sigil Spear I shouldnt have to worry about it too much.
As for which one I focus first... I dont really have any sort of priority target in this fight. I can deal with both of them pretty well, so I just go after whoever the link leader is. If I do this, Im basically killing them both at the same time anyways due to how much Im hitting them both.
