Nothing much to prepare for this battle. The boss has an AoE attack that inflicts petrify, which can be dangerous if it's inflicted. Petrify deals double(or is it triple?) the amount of damage, and unlike Freeze doesn't go away when hit. You won't get inflicted if you guard(assuming your guard isn't broken), but I lost a number of times because the AI didn't and got petrified by it. Later on, it also gets an AoE that inflicts Poison, but is less deadly than the petrify. All-in-all, a simple boss; long as you apply pressure(and the AI doesn't get stoned), it can't do much.
================
This is a casual party boss run as I play through the game. Hopefully this can be a visual guide for people stuck on certain bosses.
2x Damage
2x Critical Rate
CC +1/2
6x(Double x Triple)SP
2x Gald
2x Item Drop Rate
All GS options except Max HP+1000 were taken. However, 2x and 5x EXP were turned off before any battles(will consider them "turned on" even if I do it once and turn it off for the rest of the playthrough).
-No cheats are being used.
-No NG+; this is a fresh New Game.
-Evil Mode(will increase difficulty as it becomes available)

![Tales of Zestiria: Sophie rematch [Edna]
vs Sophie(loss): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz-wvForBo4
Came back to cut this loose end; I had won before, but uploaded one where I lost mainly because it was a reflection of my skill at the time. Thought it was time to rectify that loss. Got lucky I didnt get killed though, and I still stick too much with certain artes; I still need more training and experience =01...
I switched some artes around and moved some spells into the arte-tree, Berseria-style, just to give it a slightly different feel than what Ive done before.
I didnt get Fairy Circle in there =0(.... Trigger artes were lacking in this take too =0(. Tales of Zestiria: Sophie rematch [Edna]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/XdQY3N1UtMo/mqdefault.jpg)
![Tales of Arise - Relentless Charger [Hard] - Shionne Solo v2
After finishing the demo, I decided to take one more good attempt at this, with the stronger weapon, leveled artes(leveled to 2 or 3), and at max char level(35).
Even though I tighten my idle time down a bit, Im still at odds with AG regeneration and the best way to keep the assault going without being completely stagnant. Its also clunky to manually jump after an arte instead of having a ground-to-air arte. Of course, its just the demo, and I expect the full game to easily fix these issues.
Opted to use Burning Strike this time for more damage and to better take advantage of the boars down time after charging, as well as the fact that magic is Shionnes superior attack stat. I favor Tonitus(lightning) bomb, but probably should have use Luke(light) bombs instead, for their homing ability. ![Tales of Xillia 2: Odin [Milla]
This took WAYY too long(over a week, not counting time spent with her on Muzet), since Im not familiar with Milla outside casual play. Had to truncate both combos since he dies quickly(only 1x dmg GS option here). I JUST now thought of using an All-Divide between combos, but Ive gotten crapped on because of the non-arte electric field )=0[, plus I put in extra work to trim the fat off the combos, so Im satisfied with this.
