Never officially did this, and its the only thing not done on the playlist. Still hail these two battles as my most favorite in the game, so it was a treat to get back to it for a moment after playing a...less stellar version of this system *coughcoughZestiriacough* =03. My quick-steps weren't 100% sharp like before, but it was still pretty fun.
Malik and Pascal will come later, but they aren't nearly as fun to play and definitely not to watch, esp Pascal, whom the AI can't use for crap.

Guardian has really high Def and low A.Def, so Hidden Artes work to damage him well here. He has Iron Stance at the beginning of most of his attacks, so striking at the end of his attacks or when he casts is the best opportunity to start a combo. His attacks are easily telegraphed and his magic is easy to avoid, though Grave can be a bit of a problem if youre caught unaware.
Hes weak to Fiend and Armored. Hurricane Thrust, Mirage Dance, and Armor Crusher are the go-to artes to get a CHAIN going. Then its simply using the Form(Hidden) artes to do some good damage.
This take was a bit different than the combos I expected to do. During the first Form 2 into V. Stance(which is intentionally meant to break the combo so he can attack), I broke his iron stance twice(once with VP, again with HT). He also got pushed back pretty far from the Form 2 mine, which is very unusual considering his weight class, and since he practically always just iron stanced the VP(which would have flowed into another combo I had prepared just for that). After the iron stance break, kinda just freestyled it, which is why the combo variation is low. Still decided to keep it due to how perfect the fight proceeded.
I notice the over-reliance on Form 6. Gonna have to skip using that one in the next fight if Roku gets another turn =01...

Bryce.... his slashes are so random, its nigh impossible to discern which way to properly dodge, so I dont even play around with him. He can still kill me if he gets close, but I evaded him, blocked him, or simply AI failure at his every opportunity, so you really dont get to see what he can do. Letting him do so would be too annoying to stand, so, as expected, another combo video....
Cedric and Emeraude are exactly the same as their previous incarnations, except Cedric comes with all of his moves out of the gate, so it was more entertaining to fight him than I expected. Still, its Cedric =01. Eme was rather sloppy too, but I hyped myself up thinking that, after playing Cedric, Eme would do the same; come out the gate with the group energy balls, Nova Lightning, Whirlwind, etc, but nope, just same ol Emeraude. So I just got the first successful take(2nd try) and ran with it.
Havent forgotten about FQ either. Ive only succeeded beating her the cheap way so far, unintentionally, but dunno if I feel like going back to her at the moment.")

Originally, I thought the previous video(the bad physics and inf CC one) was a bad representation of those codes, so I knew Id do 1 one more video to rectify those feelings. Since I felt a end-game Zestiria system using these codes, I thought itd be a good idea to toss Zestiria in there for a direct comparison sort-of thing(I do like modified Zesty battle system quite a bit =03). There are plenty of videos that showcase better, legitimate Zesty/Bersy combos, and, I digress, Im pretty bad on the Bersy side of things, but even so, I merely wish to show the possibilities that exist beyond the games natural limitations.

I already explained this when I fought C3 with Leia, but C3 has a number of useful skills that he employs; Speed Cast, Queued Spellcasting, Last Stand, and Opportune Moment, are those that Im more or less sure of. The last one is the biggest hurdle to overcome =0. If C3 isnt attacking, and you attempt to use an attack of your own thats a single hit(or multiple hits really quick), theres a high chance he will backstep it, resulting in a Time Stop(and his backstep is extra long to ensure you miss). That led to many-a-game over. Best solution to this was to inflict Skillseal, which is easy to do if you have enough INT(~2200); prevents him from getting Time Stop and also prevents elongating the battle with Last Stand. Could have used a water-based weapon, like I did with Leia fighting Bisley, but opted to use his artes instead.
I also have a high amount of STR(~5200) to avoid Iron Stance shenanigans. This way, I can enjoy using his trap artes(Bubble Stalker, Mine Collapse, Meteoric Waltz) as a defensive measure that can stagger the enemy.
Other than Opportune Moment, nothing about C3 was too difficult, given enough battle experience. The Bits can lead to a pretty easy defeat if I dont defeat them as theyre entering the battlefield. The occasional walk-up-Chronos Collider is troublesome as well, but its rare that he does it(usually in OVL).
One extra note Id like to get off of my chest about the idling near the end; generally, experience is gained by fighting over and over again, slowly seeing what I can get away with and what I cannot. Obviously, with a single hit, I will die far more often in the beginning than near the end, so Im much more experienced in earlier boss forms than the latter. In this case, not too long b4 this take, I equipped Luds Last Stand skill since it works with Chromatus. A Chronos Collider would normally knock me right out of Chromatus(usually as soon as I pulled off a Edge Crusher), but because I had Last Stand, the damage during Chromatus was mitigated. However, lack of experience caused me to believe that DP or his normals were fast enough to catch him. The ensuing Time Stops, plus losing my Chromatus in this way created a psychological effect that stole my momentum and put me on the defensive. This take was also the first time I encountered his Cage of Torment(i.e. didnt realize when his clock bits rotated, he will use it), so due to said psych effect, put me in a bit of a stammer.")
