I competed in the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA) British National Championships in 2025. I entered the mens under 90KG moving step push hands (Tuishou).

I first dabbled in Tai Chi a few years ago. However recently I took up training Tuishou (push hands), focusing on applied Tai Chi. This complements both Aikido and Sumo nicely, and the rules have a lot of similarities to Sumo. For this reason I decided to try my hand at a Tuishou competition.

Early this year I won Gold in the Sumo nationals and in this competition I managed to also get Gold in Tuishou after winning this match.
