Every gangster, crook or trafficker has their own ideas on how to spend their loot and what to splurge it on. Some have refined taste for rare art, fancy real estate and supercars. Then there are these guys. Let me tell you about it. The Mob Reporter here with a look into the home of what may be the tackiest traffickers in Europe.

Police in Spain called their probe Operation Tortilla and 64 people were arrested for trafficking and money laundering in the far south of Spain, just across the narrow strait of Gibraltar from Morocco. Investigators call them speedboat specialists, using high-powered motorboats to cut across the sea to the coast of Spain.
When investigators moved against the Clan de los Pinchos, raiding eight locations in the provinces of Malaga and Cádiz, they seized 8,000 kilos of hash, six high-speed boats, 16 vehicles, bank accounts and real estate worth millions. But what is most notable about the leaders of los Pinchos, was their howlingly gaudy taste.
They reveled in the luxe brands — Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Versace, Giorgio Armani, Philipp Plein. They seem to have an Egyptian obsession and something for Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu god, hovering above their hot tub. The cops seemed to be having more fun on this raid than they do on most.
