When police in Italy announced their sweep against organized crime in its capital of Rome, it threw us back in time. The big catch of the day was a leader from a notorious and powerful crime gang from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, shockingly still in control. Let me tell you about it.

While Robertino isn’t a household name in Italy, the criminal organization he was a part of certainly is: La Banda della Magliana.
