Ingredients:
- Swiss Chard leaves (fresh)
- 1L Water
- 200g Sugar
- 1L Frying oil
Directions:
1) Bring water to boil and dissolve sugar in. Lower the heat to simmer.
2) Blanch Swiss Chard leaves for 2 min.
3) Pat dry with a paper towel.
4) Dehydrate at 60C / 140F for 1 h.
5) Deep-fry the dehydrated leaves in oil, heated to 220C / 430F.
6) Let the excess oil drain off on a paper towel.
7) Enjoy this amazing crispy garnish!
