Surgeon's Loop Knot - Fishing Knot - Loop to Loop Connector - Loop for Lure or Fly - AKA Double Loop
The Surgeon's Loop is superb way of making fast, secure loops at the end of lines and leaders allowing it to be easily connected to other loops. The Surgeon's Loop Knot is also used for and artificial lure or fly to move about naturally on the end of the line.
The properties of the Surgeons Loop Knot are that it is extremely easy to tie, exceptionally strong, but from my tests very difficult to undo when it has been loaded.
