After modifying E-bike motors since 14 years and getting great experience on BLDC i decided to also make some special treatment for my SUR RON. During this video i'm covering a short review of it and what improvement can be done to improve performance and durability. That motor is rated 5kW and some are reporting puting up to 15-20kW to it and it is a nice very simple motor plateform to play with.
