The preloaded sheet bend is a superfast way of tying a Sheet Bend. The whole idea is that prior to tying your Sheet Bend, you preload one of your lines using the Marlin Spike Hitch. You may be in a situation where you need to do a couple of things, then you can just pick up your two ropes, interlock them and with a quick flick the Sheet Bend is completed as fast as lightening.
*What is the Sheet Bend used for?* Basically, the Sheet Bend is used for joining two ropes together. If using the Sheet Bend for dissimilar sized ropes, then it is best practice that the thicker rope uses the simple bight, where as the thinner rope does the ducking and weaving ๐ ๐ ๐
