When net making, one of the first things that you will need to do is to add twine to your netting needle. Loading a netting needle is a relatively simple task, but there are a couple of things to know that will make your net making easier:
Firstly in the video you will see that it is best to have your netting twine on a dispenser. This will ensure that you are taking off the netting twine in the opposite way that it was put on in the factory. If you are tempted to allow the twine to come off from one of then ends, this could cause your line to become over twisted, or get kinks in your line.
When loading your netting needle, you may be tempted to ram it full with as much line as possible. However, be aware that this will increase the thickness of your loaded netting needle and thereby making it difficult to pass the netting needle through that size of mesh that you are trying to create.
