Superfast Bowline How to Tie the Bowline Fast
The preloaded Bowline, is a really fast way of tying a Bowline. The idea is that prior to tying your Bowline, actually create a Marlin Spike Hitch. Then when you need to create the Bowline you just past the working end of your rope through the Marlin Spike Hitch and then roll your hand over the knot and your Bowline will be formed. This method can be used whether you just want to tie a Bowline or create a Bowline around an object.

*What is the Bowline Used for?* The Bowline is a great way of creating a fixed loop knot at the end of a rope. Often used for mooring boats, lifting and heaving. It is generally considered a very secure knot that does not easily jam when the rope is loaded. Also relatively easy to undo.

*Ashley's Book of Knots :* 1010 "The Bowline, Bowling, or Bolin Knot, sometimes called Bowling’s Knot. The name is derived from bow line, a rope that holds the weather leech of a square sail forward and prevents the sail from being taken aback. As the line or rope that provided the knot is no longer in use, the Bowline Knot is nowadays very apt to be termed merely the “Bowline,” the word knot being dropped."
