Rope Cutter - Best Tool for Cutting Rope Squarely - Wolfcraft Mega Cut Extra Power
I have to say that since making the video on the Wolfcraft Mega Cut, i have increase my like rating to 9/10. Now that I have had a little play with it and worked out a better cutting technique, I prefer it even more.
Maybe the video could have been made a little shorter, but you do always have the option of bailing out or playing it at 2x speed.
I personally love the Wolfcraft Cutter as it is damn sharp and also due to the fact that you can insert new Stanley type blades. The tool gives a nice sharp crisp square cut, once the blade has been adjusted to fit parallel to the anvil.
Squishy Rope - I did find that with some ropes it was best to place a layer of sacrificial material between the rope or cord to be cut and the anvil.
