Jury Mast Knot Rope Mat - Masthead Rope Knot Mat

In a previous video I showed how to tie the Jury Mast Knot, in this video I demonstrate how to tie the Jury Mast Knot Rope Mat, also known as the Masthead Rope Mat. This is a nice way of using up old rope or cordage to make a decorative rope mat.

This makes an excellent yet simple little rope craft project, maybe a nice little rope hot pad to protect a surface?
