I got a perfect major and accidentally did TAS muscle when I didn't mean to. Rick dodging the uppercut was what really rubbed me the wrong way as this had the potential to be a 2:33 had he taken the ~55% uppercut in Phase 3.
So like every other speedrunner; even though I met the goal of 2:3X I might grind for just a bit longer, perhaps just a ~2:36 will be good enough. Although running against the major circuit is going to SUCK, especially with a perfect Macho/Nick fight at the end.

A little bit on the speechless side considering how incredibly short this session was. 3 minutes and 40ish seconds of recording to get the first sub 1:08 on TD Macho. Heres the full session because its hilarious lmao : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcIlHgiyQrU
This was a new strategy discovered by Mysteryman95 (or Frame by Frame animation) on YT. Comes with 2 new adjustments; the first one is that we now delay our first star punch of the fight to make his uppercut come out instantly. When Mystery TASed it, he got a 1:08.54 which was nice but then he took it a step forward. However, Im not sure if I want to call it a step forward because this new adjustment drops the frame-perfect cancel buffer which made 1:08.60 attempts feel like a breeze to do. But now we have to manually time it for this new adjustment to work.
Phases 2 and 3 are the same, although my execution in Phase 3 was slow for the most part. And its because of that, Ill definitely revisit IL to lower it down to my personal goal of 1:07.7X.

Lost a silly bet so I had to do Bear Hugger with the guitar hero lol.
This one was actually frustrating because Bear only takes the uppercut in Phase 2 only 25% of the time. It took 7 frame perfect Phase 1s for 12.92 to happen, and since Phase 2 is fully buffered this could have ended way quicker but instead went on forever.
Hoy was hard but man did he look easy when doing this in comparison. The only good thing about the fight was that I didnt have to worry about guard manip failing.

Been grinding this fight for a while and I am very pleased to get this time! This time also ties Doginators outstanding 41.98 which he set many months prior. This run is also 1 frame off the TAS (0:41.92). The Phase 2 left hook that makes Great Tigers next attack come out slightly faster is where I lost it. I actually had 3 runs that were better than this (TAS pace) but they all died to the final couple of inputs of the fight. Oh well.
As for the fight itself, I wasnt really that amused considering my timings for this fight always range from either Really good or just straight-up bad. Luckily for this session, I was able to get it! TAS for this fight is 41.92 which will either fall between me or Doge. (Or Andy most likely since hes been grinding a lot)
Speaking of Doge, I would like to give him a shoutout for the ending buffer in P3 which counters both sides of the magic rush! I did screw it up tho but was still able to hit the attack frame 1 lmao.

Before this, I got seven 42.04s and ALOT of 42.10s and 42.16s. I have a hunch if I ever grind for TAS Im bound to get 41.98 again but idk will see. I didnt keep track of my 2:35 Phase 1s because at this point Ive been grinding this fight for a stupidly long time to the point where I lost track of them. If I had to estimate I think I am at 100+ by now

Second time getting this one because I didnt record the first attempt. Whoops. Wasnt too bad anyway, got super lucky with Phase 2, and with no guard manipulation at the start, the counter was the only worry.
Also yeah I was in a Voice call in Discord when this happened which is why you hear other people in the background haha.

This was an IL that I held off because it just wasnt fun to grind. I say out of all the PAL fights, this one is definitely the hardest execution-wise. Got a total of 95 frame perfect Phase 1s and 23 frame perfect phase 2s before finally getting Phase 3 correctly. I could not for the life of me figure this one out, especially both Phase 2 and Phase 3 back to back. Looking back, I shouldve done this before Macho/Bull/Sandman because those fights were easier for me then Hoy.
Also by the time you see this video, I actually just achieved 33/33 SPO IL WRs so Ill be uploading the rest soon!
