☀️ POV: It’s so hot in California right now the car hood has entered its baker era.
Yes… we could bake cookies on it. No, we don’t recommend it (your car deserves better).

But since the sun is basically auditioning for a cooking show, here are some quick heat + sun safety tips so you don’t end up feeling like a baked good too:

- Drink water like it’s your full‑time job.

- Avoid outdoor activities during peak heat (usually 10 AM–4 PM).

- Wear sunscreen. Really. We can’t say this enough.

- Never leave kids or pets in cars, even “quick stops” get dangerously hot fast.

- Seek shade, AC, or cooling centers if you’re feeling overheated.

- Check in on neighbors, especially older adults or anyone without reliable cooling.

Stay cool, California and leave the baking to actual kitchens.
