Hi everyone, I’m Christan Long!
I am an adventure traveller who grew up as a part of The Long Family of Gorge River. We are the most isolated family in New zealand. We live 2 days walk from the nearest road on the South Island West Coast, between Haast and Milford Sound.
In this video, I will show you a timelapse of a “Sun Dog” and the Antarctic Midnight Sun. As You might know “Sun Dog” is bright yellow dots seen occasionally about 22 degrees to each side of the sun and usually occur in Arctic regions in very cold conditions.

It is known as one of the most beautiful scenes to see in your lifetime. I worked at Scott Base for two full summer and was lucky to witness this scenic beauty on a few occasions.
