The STIHL REA 60 PLUS and the REA 100 PLUS are the first cordless pressure washers from STIHL. These compact and lightweight battery pressure washers are powered by an interchangeable 36 volt lithium-ion battery.
The REA 60 PLUS is part of the STIHL AK System of battery tools and is designed for medium-sized to larger gardens, making it perfect for use at home, whereas the REA 100 PLUS battery-powered pressure washer is part of the STIHL AP System of battery tools for large gardens and professional applications.
Both STIHL batteries are interchangeable with other tools in their battery system. The AK battery that is used in the STIHL REA 60 PLUS can be used to power all the other AK System tools to cover all your gardening tasks. The AP battery that is used in the REA 100 PLUS cordless pressure washer can power an even more extensive range of powerful AP System tools, such as professional cordless chainsaws, hedge trimmers, battery-powered blowers, pole pruners and more.
As these STIHL pressure washers are battery-powered, it means they aren’t reliant on a power connection and instead are portable devices that can be used anywhere from campsites, bike trails, on farm machinery, or in home gardens, on patios and decking. If you are using them away from a water connection, you can attach a suction hose to the pressure washer and place this in a water container. A STIHL 5-metre suction hose with a filter and weighted base can be bought separately.
These battery-powered pressure washers have a quiet and powerful EC motor which work in combination with the high-pressure pump and aluminium pump head of the pressure washer. The STIHL REA 60 PLUS has an operating pressure of 100 bar and a water flow rate of 240 litres per hour. Whereas, the STIHL REA 100 PLUS has an operating pressure of 125 bar and a water flow rate of 270 litres per hour. The pressure can be adjusted on both battery pressure washers with the variable control switch to suit the cleaning job at hand.
Both cordless STIHL pressure washers come with a spray lance and a 3-in-1 nozzle, which allows you to choose between 3 different cleaning modes by simply twisting the nozzle to the chosen mode. The fan jet nozzle is designed for cleaning normal dirt off surfaces, the rotary nozzle is designed for removing stubborn dirt from robust surfaces and the cleaning agent nozzle combines water and a detergent, allowing you to spray the mixture directly onto a surface. To add detergent to the pressure washer, simply pull out the detergent hose and place it into the detergent bottle of your choice.
The spray lance has an anti-twist quick-release coupling which prevents it from getting tangled during cleaning jobs and the pressure washer has an integrated 5-metre hose reel on the STIHL REA 60 PLUS, and a 6-metre hose reel on the REA 100 PLUS. The spray lance splits in two and can be stored on the pressure washer alongside the 3-in-1 nozzle, to make transporting and storing the cordless pressure washer easier too.
There is a full range of additional accessories sold separately for STIHL pressure washers, such as a foam nozzle, surface cleaner and rotating roller brush – which all extend the use of your machine. The STIHL REA 60 PLUS pressure washer has a working time of up to 25 minutes with the recommended STIHL AK 30 S battery, and the REA 100 PLUS has a working time of up to 45 minutes with the recommended AP 300 S battery.
