Single point bandsaw sleds are great ways to resaw and make bookmatched lumber. If you're struggling to resaw thick wood with your bandsaw, consider making one of these. My sled uses a steel tube that reduces friction and makes cutting simple and quick. Bandsaw fences don't have what these guys have.
A home made knob can lock this guy in place as well as a knurled thumb knob. I'll also show you how to make your own expansion bar.
