Marking things can be time consuming. If I want to add a line down a board, I measure both ends and then draw a line. With this, you can find a measurement and make your mark.

This is my second marking gauge, the first being somewhat similar. This has to be one of my favorite tools that I can rely on because it works. With this version, I made it simple enough that it can be made in a few hours by anyone with a bandsaw and a drill press.
