It turns out that back when State of Decay 3 was revealed back in 2020, it was all fake. A Trailer made by a third party just to gather up hype for a potential future game release...

Well it's finally here! But supposedly the iconic zombie-deer did get cut completely. The alpha can be signed up for and is starting in May 2026!

Are you still interested in the game? Or has your hype become undead? For me it's certainly an Xbox Game Pass game, that I'll keep my eye on because of that.
