South of Midnight was shown off at the Xbox Developer Direct! They showed quite a decent amount of gameplay and then revealed that the game is releasing the 8th of April!
To me the artstyle/direction still looks very nice, but the stop-motion animation just looks like the graphics card is dying and the lod model's animations are playing because the computer can't keep up. Maybe it will feel less jarring when I'm playing it myself... and as it's on Gamepass I certainly will.
