GTA Online has just gotten Taxi Missions, you can just simply go over to the Cab Co. and start driving for them. The Taxi job missions aren't the best earning jobs, but they do provide a fun distraction to play around with. GTA+ on next gen consoles get the Taxi Custom for free and actually get double earn rates.
I personally think it would be super cool if you could actually grow your reputation and then as you get higher rated/more rides completed (imagine an uber style system) you start getting very nice bigger bonuses or special customers.
