In this Starfrit MightiCan Manual Can Opener Review, I demonstrate how to use this can opener and share why I purchased it.
To start with, I am very impressed with this Starfrit can opener. It does an excellent job opening cans, and it's very simple to use.
We like this type of can opener because it opens the can from the side instead of the top. This method leaves no sharp edges on the lid and keeps the lid from accidentally falling into the can.
We had a can opener that worked the same way as the Starfrit MightiCan can opener, but it wasn't working very well after using it for several years. I started looking for a similar style of can opener, and that's how I found the MightiCan. One thing that impresses me about it compared to our old can opener is how it removes the lid automatically when you finish opening the can. Our old can opener requires the extra step of removing the lid from the can with a grabber that's part of the can opener.
The bottom line is, I think the Starfrit MightiCan can opener works excellently, and I'm happy I bought it.
