I was living in Colorado at the time and a guy named George Lucas was just releasing a new film called "Star Wars," and it changed the science fiction landscape forever. There have since been five more of them, plus an animated film, and when you put therm all together, they've racked sales of $4.49 billion, making it the 3rd-highest-grossing series of all time. The first film had Alec Guinness for stability, and brought Harrison Ford to stardom as Han Solo, not to mention a whole bevy of robotic and alien life. It also had Carrie Fisher, daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds as Princess Leia. Then there was Darth Vader, magnificent villain with the voice of James Earl Jones. Music is "The Phantom Menace," from the movie of the same name.
