Like many of you, the voice lines from this iconic first stage of Star Fox 64 are burned into my brain from playing this level every new run. From trying to fly under the archways to having steel beams chucked at me, this level and it's music is incredibly nostalgic and I can't wait to see it in full glory in the upcoming remake. I was skeptical at first, but the more I see of the game, the more I find myself looking forward to returning yet again to the Lylat Wars.

This song was heavy even in it's original state so to try and make it even more heavy was difficult and I took great care to try to elevate it in that way. I literally kept stripping down the later breakdown section until it was so heavy and barebones it didn't even make sense anymore so I landed on what's in here hopefully at a happy and brutal medium.

For some reason I always think of bluesy inspirations from the top gun-esque star fox aesthetic so I tried to incorporate that along with some silly techniques in the solo to emulate spaceship alarms and the like. I also went very heavy on post production effects to give this cover a /vibe/. Hope you like it!
