Terrible episode 10/100
We are only 4 individual episodes in, people.
SpongeBob getting stuck in his wringer and needing to live out his day with it, sounds alright. But oh my God, they went with the worst way of doing this.
From start to finish, it is just miserable. SpongeBob accidentally hurts Squidward and a customer, makes a mess in the Krusty Krab, can’t even swallow ice cream (Which is a sign you need to go to the hospital, I mean wouldn’t you choke?), hits his eye with a baseball, Patrick flings him far away by mistake, and when he calls out Patrick’s actions, he gets told off that there’s something wrong him and his heart. Like what?! What does this have to do with anything?! SpongeBob seriously does nothing wrong, why are we torturing him?! Go back to Squidward torture if it means less of this!
And how he gets out, through crying, then says “I guess crying does solve your problems after all.”. I believe that is not meant to be taken seriously as some people make it out to be, I mean they didn’t sound serious and a hint of exaggeration, only to get stuck again with Patrick.
As for Patrick, yeah he’s too stupid here. He puts forever glue to make SpongeBob more stuck. That should be a sign of how things will go. I mean, at least Patrick actually shows concern, I mean he did break the wringer off the ground and feels sorry at the end and even frees SpongeBob with his tears, but yeah he should know better.
Still, he’s way better than a certain upcoming episode this season…
This episode is still godawful. Thankfully, we’ve gotten much better episodes about characters getting stuck later on.
