Just kidding! ABYSMAL EPISODE! 0/100!
NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST EPISODES WITHOUT ANY DOUBT! SPONGEBOB HERE, HE IS THE WORST, JUST LIKE CHOIR BOYS!
I mean the episode starts off fine enough, SpongeBob feeling guilty about leaving Gary home alone. Until we get to see Puffy Fluffy at the shop.
SpongeBob goes to get a new pet, and steals it while ignoring the shopkeeper’s warnings. And I do mean “Steal”. He acts deaf around her, and just leaves. We don’t even see him pay either, and the lady is like “Why bother? They never listen.”. Guess she’s a ghost to everyone.
So when SpongeBob gets home an shows Gary Puffy Fluffy and leaves for a moment, Puffy Fluffy tries to eat Gary, as the lady warns that the things hate cats (Well in this case, snails).
Throughout the second half, it’s just Puffy Fluffy trying to eat Gary, SpongeBob being ignorant about it, EVEN WHEN PUFFY FLUFFY IS BEING VIOLENT NEXT TO SPONGEBOB IN THE SAME DAMN ROOM WHILE IT ROARS AND TEARS UP A TOY! And SpongeBob acts like Gary doesn’t like Puffy Fluffy. And this is what he does too. Be in complete denial about what’s going on.
When they all go to bed, Puffy Fluffy becomes a much larger and scary monster and chases Gary all throughout the night, and SpongeBob SOMEHOW DOESN’T WAKE UP UNTIL MORNING! And when he sees the destruction, he blames Gary saying he’s “jealous” of the new friend. Oh yeah! Because Gary can totally cause this much destruction over jealousy!
But then, when he enters his gym and sees Gary is being eaten alive by Puff Fluffy, SpongeBob… •sigh•… Tells Gary to put Puffy Fluffy down like Gary is the one eating Puffy Fluffy. And it’s not just that moment, Puffy Fluffy starts to eat SpongeBob next, and he STILL BLAMES GARY FOR BEING BAD!
@TheMysteriousMrEnter is right! Even Patrick isn’t this stupid! No really! Even Patrick would know if he was in danger! Even in “Pet Sitter Pat” he knew no one was in danger when the house was flooded as it’s shown that nothing bad was going on. I SHOULD NOT BE DEFENDING PATRICK’S STUPIDITY ON ANOTHER NOTORIOUS EPISODE OVER SPONGEBOB’S SUPPOSED “INTELLIGENCE”.
Anyway, Gary saves the day, but SpongeBob STILL BLAMES HIM ABIUT DRIVING PUFFY FLUFFY AWAY, ACTING LIKE PUFFY FLUFFY ISN’T A MONSTER! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS EPISODE THINKING?! THIS ISN’T EVEN FUNNY, THIS IS “BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST A WALL” KIND OF SHIT!
And so, SpongeBob takes Gary to the Krusty Krab from now on, which isn’t even a good ending for Gary, as he was shown to be good of being alone earlier in the episode. But here, SpongeBob never shuts up, and is just an asshole. A stupid asshole that makes Patrick look like the smartest guy on the show.
This episode is nothing but scat. I get there’s people out there who would like it actually, but I just don’t see it. It’s just flat out dumb. Well, it’s not the worst episodes of the season or show, but still, it’s the definitive example of going downhill.
