Meh episode 57/100
Well this was disappointing. I thought this sounded cool, but it suffers quite the issues.
For one, every bad thing here is caused by Patrick and his consumption of tartar sauce. He straight up causes Man-Ray to take over Bikini Bottom, and even kill the original Mermaidman and Barnacleboy! Not the ones voiced by Adam West and Burt Ward, I mean the actual ones voiced by Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway!
Not helping is Patrick still eats the tartar sauce, and the real resolution is how a bunch of SpongeBob and Patrick clones keep appearing, making Man-Ray give up. I mean this resolution is good admittedly, but it’s ruined by context of previous events.
The good things I will admit are seeing younger Mermaidman and Barnacleboy voiced by Adam West and Burt Ward, Bikini Bottom in desolates, and again the ending, but it doesn’t make up for how dumb things happen by Patrick and his stupidity.
