In this video I’m sharing my homestead-style spicy pickled quail eggs recipe — perfect for using up extra eggs from the coop and turning them into a tangy, fiery snack. These bite-sized flavor bombs are packed with protein and big on taste, with a brine that’ll make your taste buds dance! 🥚🌶️🐔

Ingredients:
3 dozen quail eggs hard boiled
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
4 cherry tomatoes - halved (optional)
4 cloves fresh garlic
4 pearl onions
1 jalapeno sliced and seeds removed
Bring the vinegar, water, salt and Cajun seasoning to a boil in a small saucepan.
Set aside once boiled for 5 minutes and let come to room temperature.
Add 1 clove of garlic, 2-3 jalapeno slices and 2 onions to bottom of each pint jar.
Now add 1/4 of the eggs to each jar.
Follow this by adding the remaining garlic, onions and jalapeno's between the two jars
If using cherry tomatoes add them now followed by the remaining eggs.
Pour cooled pickling liquid over the eggs in each jar.
Place lid on eggs and refrigerate 2-7 d
