JDW | Spicy O'Clock: 68040 Macintosh Overclocking [1 of 2] @JDW- | Uploaded February 2022 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
See how to overclock an LC575 motherboard in a Macintosh Color Classic Mystic using Kay Koba's Spicy O'Clock. Fast VRAM & OS-CON capacitors required to reach the highest clock speeds. Works with an LC040 (no FPU) or full FPU 68040 CPU as long as the motherboard has an XC or MC 88916DW chip. This video is PART 1. I had to suddenly cut this video short due to an ongoing family medical emergency. When I have time to make a future PART 2 segment, it will show a full FPU 68040, heatsink, and even greater overclocking performance that will surprise you. (Part II video: youtu.be/E_ZH8crtYU0 )
