This FCPX 10.4 screencast explores the merits of using HLG on the GH5 for rendering to the Rec.709 colorspace, especially to preserve details in highlights, in comparison with other standard GH5 profiles like CineD, Standard, etc. Sharpening and Noise are also compared. (vLog was not compared because it costs $100 and doesn't offer try-before-you-buy.)
► Saturation, Noise Reduction, Sharpening, etc. settings are announced at 13:50 in the video.
► ISO for HLG clips: 400. ISO for all other clips: 200. (HLG requires ISO 400 or higher.)
