This spring is shaping up to have a SPECTACULAR start so far in so many ways. From the warmer temps, and longer days, lots of cool trains are hitting the rails! We'll see some classic EMDs roaring down the mainline, Tier 4 EMDs on a coke empty, a former BN SD40-2s roaring down the rails, plus so much more!
Things start off over at Cardigan Jct with the morning sun bathing an SD60 in great light. After it rounds the curve at Cardigan Jct, we'll watch as it meets other trains, and a pair of GP20C-ECOs. Following this, it makes it's way over to Northtown Yard. Along the way, we'l see KCS geeps, and a sharp looking Union Pacific SD70AH-T4 too! After this, our attention is turned over to the BNSF. This is where we'll see BNSF 1940, a green SD40-2 roaring down the mainline. We get to see this train in four different spots from Litchfield to Delano, MN before disaster struck. :/
