Train yards can be a never ending hive of activity, but rarely does one see a locomotive kicking up LOTS of smoke! This video highlights some of my favorite, recent catches, of trains kicking up lots of smoke while switching, and moving around.
Beginning at BNSF's Northtown Yard, we'll watch a former Great Northern spew out LOADS of smoke as it throttles up, and moves cars around. After this, we shift our attention to 35th Ave with the Tramp Job. Leading the way is a pair of former Santa Fe Super Fleet B40-8Ws, which also release loads of smoke as they pull on a heavy, and long cut of cars.
