Founded in 1907 as the Beaumont Fair, the South Texas State Fair is an annual regional state fair featuring a livestock show, commercial exhibition, and carnival midway. Boasting an annual attendance of more than 500,000 people, the event is only second in statewide popularity to the State Fair of Texas in Dallas.
