The "Presidential Anthem" was composed in the 1960s or 1970s by Kim Sung-tae, with lyrics by Park Mok-wol, during the presidency of Park Chung Hee. The hymn was performed to honor presidents of South Korea in ceremonial settings until it fell out of use with the advent of President Kim Young-sam's civilian government in the 1990s. Pictured in the video is the presidential standard of Korea.
