"Ще не вмерла України і слава, і воля" (Shche ne vmerla Ukrainy i slava, i volia) is the state anthem of Ukraine. It was formerly the national anthem of the Ukrainian People's Republic, the West Ukrainian People's Republic, and Carpatho-Ukraine. Following Ukraine's secession from the Soviet Union, the song was officially adopted as Ukraine's national anthem in 1992.
The current lyrics to the anthem are a modified version of the first stanza of a patriotic poem written in 1862 by Ukrainian poet Pavlo Chubynsky. Ukrainian composer Mykhailo Verbytsky composed the musical setting for Chubynksy's text in 1863.

Ще нам, браття молодії, усміхнеться доля.
Згинуть наші воріженьки, як роса на сонці.
Запануєм і ми, браття, у своїй сторонці.

English Translation:
The glory of Ukraine has not yet perished, nor the will.
Still upon us, young brothers, fate shall smile.
Our enemies shall vanish, like dew in the sun.
We too shall rule, brothers, our country.
𝄆 Soul and body shall we lay down for our freedom,
And we will show, brothers, that we are of the Cossack nation! 𝄇
