It's November again, which means Soo Line 1003 is out on the road for the annual Santa Train event!
Sadly this would be 1003's only outing of the year, a photo charter was planned but cancelled due to not enough tickets selling. Though you could argue that the crew made up for this in a way, as they also wanted to do some shake-down runs with 1003 before and after the event by running her all the way to Woodland, and she did several impressive runbys.
Also included in the video are two CN freights at Slinger, one of which was led by an ex-BNSF Dash 9 rebuilt as an AC44C6M!
