For the first time since 2019, Trainfest at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in Milwaukee was hosted this weekend! There were still some differences between now and what the original was like (I noticed a few layouts and vendors that weren't there this year) but there were some new additions too! A couple of Thomas fans brought in Gauge 1 replicas that they had built for display. I saw some very impressive replicas of James, Percy, BoCo, and Skarloey
As a bonus, there's also a little bit of footage of trains running at the Lionel Railroad Club of Milwaukee at the end of this video, most of which are owned by my friend @metalheadrailfan , as he came up and I offered to both test some models he got at the show and run one of his crown jewels, an I Love Toy Trains set, on the layout.
