Join me on a solo wildcamping adventure on Place Fell, just before storm Ashley rolled in! The day started with a 2.5 mule hike from Patterdale, offering stunning views over Brothers water, Kirkstone pass and Ullswater. After a well earned break at the summit with cold beers, the weather began to turn, so I put up my tent for the night and went to sleep, the plan was to wake early and decend before the worst of the storm arrives, did it all go to plan? Perfect for those interested in wildcamping, hiking in the Lake District and storm chasing adventures!
