We park up in the National Trust carpark at Watendlath, and take a shortish walk to the summit of Grange fell. There was some confusion with OS maps, as Brund fell is the summit that Alfred Wainwright selected as the place with the views, but we summited the highest point on Grange fell. There was no wind at camp, which meant @adaminthewild8915 Jordy Bear and I could sit out and enjoy the stunning Autumnal colours of the Borrowdale valley whilst catching up and enjoying a beer.
