Join me on this wildcamp as I celebrate one whole year without any alcohol. Conditions weren't ideal with some heavy clouds in the sky and the wind was constantly blowing the whole time. Having missed a week due to illness I wasnt sure how I'd manage, but me being me I'd planned 5 Wainwright's over a distance of 8 miles. Parking up at Longlands I start the hike, initially struggling with being ill the previous weekend, but I quickly get the wind in my sails and before I know it I'm boshing my first summit! From there I keep going and absolutely smashed the 5 Wainwright's I had planned, taking my total to 93 💪 I then return to the first summit to pitch my tent for the night, where I discuss being alcohol free, how it has effected me and how I feel now, as well as encouraging you to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
