I threw together this simple solar project in half an hour, and you can too. I found a free inflatable pool on craigslist and used some solar parts I had. The pump, batteries, and panel were all from a previous video.

The air temp. is 71°F today. The pool water started out at 60°F and was 87°F in just a few hours later. Flat plate solar collectors work great for this type of thing.
