The rain can be a killer for wood framed buildings. I move quickly in this video to finish the framing and wrap the whole building in my WRB (weather resistant barrier). I'm using Protecto Wall VP, from Protecto Wrap. This is a full-adhered house-wrap. It is designed to shed liquid water which protects the building during construction, but also long term from any liquid water that gets past the cladding layer.
The VP stands for Vapor permeable. This means that water vapor can move through allowing the structure to dry to the outside if conditions allow.
Also, I add some up-lift resistance down at the beam to joist connection.
