Attempt #2 (Failed) at building a spot welder. My goal is to spot weld the tabs of my lithium battery cells to the copper bus bars. You can check out some of my previous videos to see more about the battery.

I've taken apart an old microwave to get at the transformer inside. Then I coiled a 1 gauge copper wire inside the transformer. However, I'm not getting any spot welds. Perhaps I blew the circuit board attached?

I'll keep everyone informed as I go. If you have any ideas why this didn't work, please let me know.
