You go to research Progressive candidates on social media and they’re not saying anything. 😤
You find their page. They’re (maybe) posting. And it’s… endorsement graphics. Event flyers. Handshake photos where 20 people showed up—nothing that tells you what they actually believe. Nothing that makes you feel like you know them. Nothing that makes you want to share it, talk about it, or show up for them.
It’s posts that are all about campaign stats, when voters want content that provides value.
Meanwhile, the other side is loud, clear, and impossible to ignore — you know exactly where they stand, even if it infuriates you.
It’s like these progressive candidates don’t know how to communicate what they stand for. Or they think social media is something that can be passed to an intern who, because they’re young, they’ll know how to ‘influence.’ As someone who has been a social media coach and consultant since 2009, I can tell you that’s a myth. Social Media success is a high-level skill.
Vague doesn’t inspire. A social media page that looks like a press release isn’t going to win anyone over, even if they WANT to vote for you.
So I’m sharing my social media consulting expertise. I offer free 30-minute introductory calls that are often eye-opening in themselves to prospective clients. We need candidates who can win in the content wars so they can win at the ballot box.
