YHVH was recast as a woman in order to widen the demographic appeal.
Restrictions of the challenge run:
- This shall follow the New Chaos route in the game, and all battles participated in must be fought on the Expert difficulty setting.
- All bosses shall be fight in ascending order according to level, and any exp gain should be minimized where possible.
- Unless explicitly given to us in-game, the use of passwords are forbidden.
- For the sake of simplicity, the production and use of the "March to Death" sub-app is prohibited.
First strategy was to use the reflect strategy that we all used to beat Mem Aleph the first time we fought her (don't lie), since we can get every repel skill at this point sans Elec and Phys. Apparently, half a decade is enough time for a dev to learn about an exploits existence, because they made it that the most damage you can get from a typical reflect scenario is 400 dmg on Expert, even if you use sub- lv.15 demons. So, unfortunately, we have to beat her legitimately.
1st Phase: The slow and boring part. She's like an unimpressive Mem Aleph, sporting about as powerful spells and a shifting pattern of unique attacks from the other optional bosses, but with no Asura Roga or Disaster Cycle to watch out for at all times. The one thing she does have is Divine Pain, a party wide Jihad. We need Life Surge on all demons to tank it, even with buffs and stat boosting with Mitamas (I didn't allow D Incense), but otherwise, nothing too out there. Max buff pattern is +3/-2 of all things, so get those out and you're gold.
Phase 2: Once she falls to 3000 HP, Shekinah will have Demeter revive her and change her resistances. She now has nuts resistances to all elements, including almighty, but heavily boosted damage from co-op attacks. She also starts using the field spells form the bosses she's invoking.
First cycle is the absolute worst one she can go through, Anahita, Zeus and Forneus. No way to deal damage, to too risky to do damage plus an almighty Mute attack, to inflicting everyone with Fear. This is a legitimately terrifying and game ending patterns she can go through, and the fact I survived prove that there is at least one god smiling on me.
The second cycle, on the other hand, is the best one she can do. Ishtar's strengths are mitigated with Brave Heart, and Elec attacks bring her health down to about 6500 HP courtesy of Preparedness on all the demons. Then Maria fruit happens and that's practically free damage, as she inefectually tries to make us weak to expel in the face of Tetraja while we hammer her down to around 3000 HP with no fear of a Torah going up. Once she switches to Amon, I sub the party for a majority Neutral formation so she casts the wrong Torah, bring back my real party, and Ice attack her death.
And that, friends, is how you cheese God.
